Among the many world figures he has interviewed are the six most recent prime ministers, the seven most recent US presidents, as well as many others outside the world of politics, including Muhammad Ali and The Beatles. In the interview with Adam Thomas, Sir David cites his revealing interview with Richard Nixon, recorded after the Watergate scandal, as a highlight of his career. He hosted his last Breakfast with Frost for the BBC in May 2005, but said: "It's very much an au revoir, rather than a goodbye." |
