Hungama tells the story of today’s youths. It shows how confuse they can be when it comes to dealing with the concept of love at such a young age.

Aftab Shivdasani
Aftab has the same aspirations as Anjali

Young Anjali (Rimi Sen) comes to the city of Mumbai looking for an exciting life and a well paid job.

This leads her to Aftab, a young lad with the same aspirations.

Anjali soon gets the opportunity to buy the house of her dreams but on one condition.

The owner stipulates that he will only sell the house to a married couple.

So she asks Aftab to pose as her husband who readily agrees.

Rimi Sen
Rimi Sen is Anjali in this rib tickler

That problem sorted, Anjali decides to meet Paresh, the company boss for a prospective job offer.

But whilst waiting to talk to him at his house, she meets Akshaye, the electrician.

Thinking Anjali to be the daughter of this businessman, he falls head over heals in love with her.

Unable to meet the boss first time round, Anjali re-visits his house. She meets the electrician once again.

This makes Paresh's wife, suspicious, thinking that Anjali is having an affair with her husband.

Akshate Khanna
Akshaye Khanna plays the electrician in this film

On the other hand Akshaye's frequent visits to his house make the boss believe that his wife is having an affair with him.

If you are not already confused then you will be when Aftab comes onto the scene proposing to Anjali.

Can these funny characters get out of the confusion they have originally created for themselves? Watch Hungama (confusion) to find out.

Previewed by Manish Gajjar, BBC Shropshire's Mr Bollywood.
