Major
Kaul is posted to New Zealand on a mission to protect Anita, the
daughter of an Indian Defence Minister.
He
wishes that his son Ajay (Sunny Deol) would come over from India
to be with him.
But
Ajay is reluctant to move to fresher pastures because he is in love
with Neha (Tabu).He
wants to marry her.
The
plot thickens when a kidnapping attempt on Anita proves unsuccessful
by the militants due to Major Kaul's tight security protocol.
Soon
after, Major Kaul is forced to return to India for personal reasons
and it is at this point that the same militants kidnap Ajay's girlfriend,
Neha.
Blinded
by love, Ajay does exactly what the kidnappers want and that is
to bring back Anita from New Zealand in exchange for Neha.
But
in the process Anita falls in love with our hero.
Wait

who in this politically orientated love triangle.
