I remember school holidays in the late 50s. Swimming in the river Annick and sometimes a steam train driver would throw us some coal for the fire we used to dry off. We would borrow some potatoes from the local farmer's field to bake on the fire. Wonderful times.

Like me did you have happy times at Seton Sands? In the 50s 60s we went every year to my Grandas - hut no H68. All the Fergusons from Bridgeton.

hello aye I remember port seton too we went there in the eary 50s with my two aunties and old granny , we faced on to a field with cows and the hut wasnt that nice, compared with some, remember the big shops down there with the glass roof, and the water that we had to get with a wooden barrow and pails. it was good fun though.
