| Newspapers are a good source of information for the Scottish public. Journalists have to be careful about what they are writing about in case it helps the enemy in any way. For this reason the government can censor what is written in newspapers. Newspapers are also used by the government to keep people's spirits high during the war and sometimes even bad news is reported with an uplifting message at the end of it. |
