At the very beginning of the decade Lego and Etch-a-Sketch were introduced; they were so popular they survived through the 60s into the next three decades and are still around today!
Later, in 1966 and ’67, group games like Twister and Frisbee were invented.
But the advertising of toys was nothing like it is today and most children in Scotland were still happy to find entertainment without toys. Most children spent a lot of time outside playing things like hide-and-seek.
