The Blacksmith Scene:
In this area children will be given information on housing, crafts and apprentices.
The Task:
Children must retain the information they find in order to answer questions when they reach the castle gates.
Strand:
- People, events and societies of significance in the past.
- The nature of historical evidence
Children will learn about the lifestyle of Craftsmen during the 16th Century and consider housing, crafts and apprentices, and at Level D suggest why they might be considered significant.
