The Shore scene:
In this area the children will be given information on trading routes, the merchant class, apprentices, imported and exported goods.
The Task:
Children must retain the information they find in order to answer questions when they reach the castle gates.
Strand:
People, events and societies of significance in the past
Children will learn about the lifestyles of Merchant Class people during the 16th Century e.g. the role of apprentices, and of female merchants, and at level D, consider the importance of trade with other countries.
