The Holy Rude Kirk Scene:
In this area children will be given information on the Catholic and Protestant churches, John Knox, the bible, literacy and printing
The Task:
Children must retain the information they find in order to answer questions when they reach the castle gates.
Strand:
People, events and societies of significance in the past.
At Level D children will learn about Scotland during the Reformation e.g. Catholic and Protestant Churches, John Knox, bibles, literacy and printing.
They will consider how religious differences between people were significant in shaping events during the life of Mary Queen of Scots.
