Hey
Just been doing a bit of walking and we went to a concert the other night. It was Gaelic singing and fiddle playing which I thought would be totally boring but it was alright actually. Better than I thought anyway. It's all very cultural - I think I might need to try and catch a film this week or something. I think they've got a cinema in Portree that gets films just a little bit later than the rest of the country but I ain't seen anything in ages and I might see if Melodaidh fancies a change from cèilidhs and culture. I think Rocky Balboa is coming up sometime soon. It would be good just to do something like, normal. I am enjoying the travelling though and it's kind of alright meeting new people and learning stuff. I am learning a good bit of Gaelic now and I've even downloaded a Gaelic podcast to listen to - don't tell the others LOL
Better go and find out what's happening these next few days,
Munro

Hey,
We went up the In Pin on Sat. which was alright, it was just Melodaidh and I, like, and she's kinda cool. It was good to get out climbing for real instead of just on the wall. I think she thought I was nervous or something which I totally wasn't.
The views from up there were pretty amazing, too; I took some photos with my moby so I'll upload them later. Seanair was hanging out with Morag all day Saturday but I think he was wishing he could get up the Cuillin with us. Morag ain't that fit though, so I suppose he was just doing her a favour. Anyway, I don't think Seanair would have managed the In Pin somehow. Not in his boots he bought in 1989 and the jacket from before I was even born!
I bought this CD of a local band called Stereoglo who are pretty good like. The CD shop was better than I thought, I was thinking they might only stock the Runrig back catalogue!
Right guys, mar sin leibh,
Munro

Hey,
So, here we are in the Isle of Skye, which is An t-Eilean Sgitheanach in Gaelic - which actually means the winged isle and this is because the island is shaped like it has wings. They think I don't listen but I know more than those lot think.
It was such a loooong journey to get here. Seanair was babbling on about some Sisters and some hills he did in 19whateva, all the way up the road.
I had to crank up my Mylo tunes full blast to half drown him out. He comes from Skye which is kinda cool (Mylo, not Seanair). Anyway I've read there is a record shop in the main street in Portree so I’m gonna go and check it out and get the vibe of the place.
I wouldn't mind getting some climbing done up the Cuillins right enough. The “In Pin” looks kinda cool and some guys in the Outdoor shop said we could hire a guide to take us there. Hopefully Seanair won't mind forking out a little cash for my tuition. LOL
L8r,
Munro
