It’s been a long time since I was up this early. It’s weird. My normal mid-winter involves not seeing daylight for a month as I stay in bed sleeping for so long it’s always dark when I get up.

Got some gigs coming up this month so I’ll keep you posted. Runrig next week .. nice one.

Feasgar math ….. feasgar fliuch, more like. It was a bit damp for my liking. I had a trip along the West Highland Way with Seanair today. Mel and me …. and Morag … had a secret conference to opt out of Seanair’s walk to Glasgow. We decided to go shot about with him, and it was my turn today.

It was only supposed to be yesterday, but I stuck it out for two days. I actually quite enjoyed it, as Seanair pointed out lots of stuff he knew and places he’d been before. I s’pose most people don’t get such a chance to hang out with their grandfather. I mumphed a bit as we trekked down to Invermoriston. The rain got down a lot faster than we did.

It’s a day off for me tomorrow though – result!!

Afternoon, chaps. I suppose I’d better say: ‘Feasgar math’. Tha mise agus Melodaidh (woo-hoo!) ann an Glaschu an-diugh! Tha sinn gu bhith ag èisteachd ri Runrig a-nochd …. aig 8 uairean. Not bad for the old Gaelic, eh? I’ve been listening!

Need to get practicing with some of the tunes tho’ – time to fire up my portable and iconic music player.

Abair bliadhna! Chan urrainn dhomh creidsinn gu bheil sinn uile a’ bruidhinn ri chèile fhathast! Tha sinn ann an Glaschu a-nis airson Oidhche Challainn! Thanks for coming along for the ride. I’ve learned a ton of stuff, especially on the Gaelic front.
