Woo hoo! Mios eile! Our time in the Highlands has just been a total blast and it ain’t over yet! Tha sinn a’ siubhal ann an Earra-Ghàidheal. For November, we’re travelling through Argyll and the Islands. There’s lots of them and they’ve all got something for an adventurer like me … including surf!
Munro thinks I’m nuts, but because of the gulf stream the water is just about at it’s warmest at this time of year, so it’s fine if you’ve got the kit. I can’t wait to get out on my board. I’ve been doing some surfing – the deskbound, internet kind – and I’ve found out that Kiloran Bay on Colonsay and Gott Bay on Tiree are where it’s at. That’s where I’m heading … see ya all there!

Hee-hee! I think Munro is getting more embarrassed as the year goes by. I tried on my wetsuit this morning and asked him how I looked. He just went bright red and claimed that his music was too loud for him to hear my question properly ;)

Oh boy …. it’s sooooo early! We’re heading off to Islay on the ferry today. It should be a great trip. I just have to make sure we get back in time for my permaculture course next weekend! I’ll tell you all about that later.

Hey guys,
I’m just getting ready for my course tomorrow. It’s going to last two days and it’s all about understanding the forests. It should be cool.
Islay was also cool. It’s a beautiful island. If you get the chance, go and check it out!

Man, it’s been another month of adventures and it has sure hurtled past. We’ve seen some beee-oot-i-ful places around Argyll. I really liked Oban which has great fish and chips! The scenery here is as amazing as anywhere else we’ve been and the trees have managed to hang onto their autumn colours – lovely reds (or should that be ‘ruadh’?!)
I can’t believe we’ve only got one month left of this adventure and I don’t know what I’ll do once Dwelly disappears back to wherever it is he comes from. Maybe I will stay on in Scotland. I think I’ll tell Munro that, but I’ll make sure the other guys are there to see his face go ‘dearg’ – that means red, in case you’ve forgotten!
OK. Gotta go for now!
