Hai …. ciamar a tha sibh an-diugh?
That cheeky little mite, Dwelly has only gone and gotten us doing our task. Although I have to say I am loving it! We're making a film as the Celtic Media Festival is gonna be starting next week. I don't think anyone else has started thinking about it but I love drama and acting, I was always the lead role in the school play!
Morag is not too enthusiastic but we'll get her to direct the film instead of Seanair bossing us around!! Tee hee! He's a great old guy. I think he likes island life, he's got so much energy ... or maybe it's Morag that's doing that!
Anyway, I have a performance to rehearse!

Halò. Dè tha dol?
We were busy around the Cuillins again a couple of days back. We went on a walk with a ranger that's titled "In the Shadow of the Cuillins". This was just cool. We walked up to Loch an Fhir-Bhallaich which lies just at the base of Sgurr Dearg (Red Peak) and then walked along to Eas Mòr (meaning ‘Big Waterfall’) which was ………. one big waterfall! It was beautiful.
It was like another world up there and the views just took my breath away.
The night before that we were at a concert with the Gaelic singer, Julie Fowlis and Scottish fiddler Jenna Reid playing. This was awesome, I loved the Gaelic tunes. I think she comes from Uist and I even got her autograph - that was for Munro really - he was such a smitten kitten!!!
So, all in all, I'm having a ball!
Mar sin leibh,

Halò, is ciamar a tha sibh? Is mise Melodaidh!
The Inaccessible Pinnacle is soooooooo accessible for us Aussie climbers - we had it done and dusted on Saturday!
We hired a guide to take us up Sgurr Alasdair (this means Alasdair's Peak in Gaelic) and on to the In-Pin and it was a rocking day altogether!
It was just Munro and I that went with the guide and we put all that we learnt at the climbing wall in Fort William to practice - Munro looked pretty nervous though! Man, I just had such a buzz and the views were like soooooo amazing. I'm definitely enjoying this outdoor lifestyle!
Seanair and Morag went on a walk around Sgoire Breac (Scorrybreac) in Portree which is apparently owned by the Nicolson Clan. Anyway, I think it was all Morag could muster on Saturday, she's still pretty tired after Ben Nevis! There are so many great walks around Portree and on Skye! I quite fancy going north to Staffin where there's a museum with some remains of dinosaur prints found in the area...how mad, huh?
The Old Man of Stòrr on the road to Staffin looks just spectacular and The Quirang is another place I'd like to visit - apparently they used to play shinty up on a flat piece of the Quiraing called "The Table". I think myself and Munro should give this a go ourselves ;)
Man, I'm just so excited to be in such a groovy place!!!
Le gaol (with love!),

Yo guys!
What an amaaaazing journey we had to get to Skye. It's all rugged and remote but I love it. There was even a loch shaped liked a map of Scotland on the way here - I've taken loads of pix, don't worry. I will email them later!
We also saw some deer, what majestic looking animals they are, although I wouldn't like to meet one on a dark night!!!! There was like thousands of them just off from the road at a place called "Cluanie". I was getting a good chat with the driver en route!
Skye is just magical! The Cuillins are fab, and I can't wait to get climbing. Apparently, there's a pinnacle called "The In-pin" or the Inaccessible Pinnacle which is just rocking to climb. I might see about hiring a guide for that, I'm sitting in the climbing shop on their internet access so I'm finding out loads of cool stuff from the staff here - they even serve you free coffee!
Anyway dudes and dudettes, I’d better log off now and let Munro on. He's hovering around here clicking on a karabiner!
L8rs,
