Dwelly Munro

SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 2007

Madainn Mhath,

Well, it was less of the walking and more of the dancing last night as we went to a Cèilidh in a little place called Kilmuir. It’s a very interesting place you know, if not a little wild! There is even a museum there with houses that are older than Seanair! It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, I got to sit and wag my tail all evening whilst the rest of them danced the night away. That little Dwelly has us participating in a film next week in aid of the Celtic Media Festival that starts on the 28th. Who knows how that’ll turn out but I’m sure my acting won’t be too strenuous. After all, I’m playing a dog!

Mar sin leibh,

Feasgar Math,

Another day, another dander up ANOTHER hill and mountain! As much as I love Seanair (and my walks), some days I would love to curl up by the fire. This holiday is busy busy busy. Morag bought me a nice new ball today though and all that Munro seems to want to do is follow Melodaidh around like a puppy dog… and I thought I was the only canine on this trip!

Tìoraidh an-dràsta,

Halò,

We’ve been busy doing the tourist thing again this weekend. Portree is a very nice little town with lots of colourful houses and lots of walks. We went on a walk around “Scorrybreac” on Saturday and by the end of it I really did need a break. Morag came with us, which was very interesting…yaaaawn. I don’t know why she ALWAYS has to come with us. I’m off for some lunch…. roast chicken flavour crisps today…yum yum.

Feasgar math. Ciamar a tha sibh?

We have arrived safely on the spectacular Isle of Skye. I knew the Highlands were very scenic but I must say I do like Eilean a’ Cheò the best so far. We had a very pleasant journey from Fort William, we travelled past the Kintail sisters AND the Cuillins in one day – I thought Seanair was going to burst with excitement. Ah, yes, we go from one Munro to another…no doubt they’ll be adorning our walking boots again this week, my poor paws!

Bye for now,

Brochan
