Feasgar Math! Ciamar a tha sibh?

That’s us now on our way to The Isle of Skye. If my memory serves me right, it is a beautiful Island with of course, mountains! Seanair and I have visited here before and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Unfortunately I seem to have been sat beside Munro whilst travelling and that wee box off his that he plugs into his ears, makes some racket! Everytime I register my protest at the volume he looks at me as if to say: “Cò thusa?” A bit more Gaelic working it’s way into the brain.

Bye-Bye

Aaaaaachooooo!

I think I may be coming down with a cold. We’ve been taking it a little easier this week and Seanair took me to an exhibition of some guy called Shackleton who travelled to Antarctica at the beginning of the century – Shackleton had a cat on his expedition. Some people! The exhibition was photos and information of his trip. It really was very interesting and I think Seanair is now feeling inspired…as long as he’s inspired to walk to a warm country….aaaaaaachoo!

Bye!

Madainn Mhath!

Well, would you believe it? This weekend’s expedition DIDN’T involve any mountains, thanks to Morag. We travelled by train to a place called Glenfinnan, which was very enjoyable. Although we did get out and have a little walk, it was more my kind of walk. We even saw some sand and I got to splash around for a while. Brrrrrrr, it was freezing. I wish Munro wouldn’t throw those sticks so far into the water at this time of year.

Cheerio !

You know the saying: “There’s no rest for the wicked”? Well, I must have been very wicked as pup because I’m not getting much rest these days! Between walking and walking and more walking, Seanair is going to need a new pair of boots at this rate. If only they made walking boots for dogs - my poor paws are beginning to hurt. Oh well…where’s that packet of cheese and onion? Must keep my energy levels up. You never know when we’ll be out again…groan…

Bye-bye

Madainn mhath, ciamar a tha sibh? ’S e Brochan a tha orm. (Good morning, how are you (plural). Brochan here – maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks!) Well, here we are in the sunny (!) climes of Fort William. It’s the wettest place in Scotland you know, and Seanair is worse than a Brochan with two tails with all these mountains around him! I’m hoping he’s got a vast supply of crisps to keep me going up the Ben, or else I’ll be cranky! I love walkies at the best of times but sometimes Seanair takes it all a little seriously…

Cheerio,

Brochan
