Dwelly | Munro > TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2007 Madainn mhath. Abair latha. Tha e gu math sàmhach. Chan eil sgeul air duine sam bith …. I think everyone is still cuddled up in bed, so I’ve got up a wee bit earlier for some peace and quiet. Dwelly’s got us setting off for Glasgow from Inverness, but not before Seanair and I went to see Fred Morrison in concert in Inverness. It was all good, but a bit loud for my delicate canine ears. I’m looking forward to giving some of the Great Glen Road and the West Highland Way a go. Dwelly has promised that we don’t have to walk all the way – just as well that I can still use my heli-tache when the ‘rest’ aren’t looking. I think Munro will be doing more of the ‘moaning’ and less of the walking! Tìoraidh an-dràsta! B POSTED BY BROCHAN AT 07:40 AM - 0 COMMENTS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2007 Halò a h-uile duine. A bheil sibh uile gu dòigheil? Ciamar a tha mise? Chan eil dona idir. Munro was trying to impress Melodaidh today by jumping on and off the West Highland Way … and he ended up disappearing to the waist in a muddy, smelly bog. He wasn’t happy, but everyone else was in stitches! Poor Munro! I only laughed for an hour and a half! Tha mise a’ coimhead air adhart ri deireadh na seachdaine, tha na casan beaga agam gu math sgìth. I hope that I can get a nicely heated doggy bed to sleep in … that’s not too much to ask for is it? Oidhche mhath. Brochan POSTED BY BROCHAN AT 17:22 PM - 0 COMMENTS MONDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2007 Seo an latha mu dheireadh den bhliadhna, agus abair thusa gu bheil mi sgìth! My poor paws need a good rest after all the trekking and travelling, the climbing and capering. I hold Dwelly and Seanair equally responsible for all the …. Fun! I’ve enjoyed it immensely. The highlights include at least two different flavours of crisps in each location, and watching Munro get more and more desperate to catch Melodaidh’s attention. I’ve learnt a lot of Gaelic on my journey and I hope I’ve helped you to pick up a bit too. My blog should have given you an insight into what life is like as a ‘vertically-challenged’ dog. Chì mi uaireigin sibh! Brochan POSTED BY BROCHAN AT 14:36 PM - 0 COMMENTS |
