Dwelly | Munro > SUNDAY, APRIL 22, 2007 Halò agus ciamar a tha sibh? An dòchas gu bheil sibh gu math! 'S e latha math a th’ ann an-diugh! Don’t you think I’m becoming a bit of an old hand at this Gaelic malarkey? Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? The surfing competition starts in two days and Melodaidh has been practicing hard – she’s now almost half human half surfboard with the amount of time she’s spending on it! I don’t know, a wee paddle and a swim is alright but this surfing fad seems all a bit pointless to me. Munro has done his own fair share of swimming this week too, I don’t know if surfing is his sport not unless the competition involves falling off it more than staying on it! Right I better go – got a bone to chew, B POSTED BY BROCHAN AT 11.26 AM - 0 COMMENTS TUESDAY, APRIL 10, 2007 Feasgar Math, Tha latha math ann an-diugh! Yes it was such a lovely day we walked along the beach. A long beach called Dunnet Bay. Apparently it’s very popular with surfers (roll of the eyes) but it was very enjoyable either way. Anyway got to dash got a very important meeting with a cheese and onion packet of crisps… yum yum! We’ve arrived safe and sound in Thurso and the crew have been given their Dwelly challenge. Ho ho ho! What a lot of nonsense this surfing is! Surfing? Have you ever heard the like?! I prefer a good swim myself and a good shake off after. There doesn’t seem to be a Munro within a few miles of Thurso - so I think myself and Morag will enjoy this place fine… and relax!
