Radio Wales

Actor and author Tim Downie joins Roy to talk about his fascinating new book Rituals, a journey through the customs and ceremonies that still survive across the British Isles, including one of Wales's most extraordinary traditions, the Mari Lwyd. And he catches up with spoken-word poet Georgia Griffiths. She's won major competitions, represented the UK overseas and even written poetry for Welsh rugby. And ROy's Pick comes from Science Cafe and an archaeological dig of a Roman villa in Rossett.
