9/9 Camper Van
The only space I have ever had that is truly mine is my camper van. It has the characteristics of both snail-shell and handbag. Like a bag it contains all that I need, yet I can retreat into it when the landscape becomes alarming. With my children grown and my husband away I live in it several days a week, year round, as i commute between home and university and friends all around the country. It has become my inspiration and the motivation for my work as an artist. It has nurtured me more than any home I have ever had.
