Your views: Prostitution 30 Jan 2006
What you had to say...

A couple of weeks ago the government put forward its proposals on the control of prostitution - designed to give sex workers better protection. We received an e-mail from 'Sarah' who wanted to talk about the impact of prostitution on the wives and families of men who use them. Her husband went to prostitutes for the first 14 years of her marriage. We changed her name and disguised her voice for obvious reasons.

The subject really set the website message board alight - we had more than a hundred postings discussing the issue. Today we hear some of those messages - ranging from some women in a similar situation as 'Sarah' to those who wondered what drives men drives men in seemingly healthy and satisfying relationships to seek out prostitutes.
