  Gabrielle Drake 12 Jan 2006
In JM Barrie's What Every Woman Knows

Gabrielle Drake stars in a new production of What Every Woman Knows by J M Barrie. Barrie, best known for Peter Pan, wrote What Every Woman's Knows at the height of the suffragette movement and his play is a comedy of marriage, politics and the subtle interplay of the sexes.

Gabrielle joins Jenni to discuss her long career which has seen her play a wide range of strong women starting with the impetuous Cecily in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest to her current role as the formidable French Comtesse De La Briere.

What Every Woman Knows is at The Royal Exchange, Manchester until Saturday, February 25
