Legacy of the great British food writer
Jane Grigson's first book was about charcuterie and French pork recipes. Grigson’s columns in the Observer ran from 1968 until her death in 1990. Her books, such as Good Things, Fish Cookery, her Vegetable Book and English Food can still be found in many kitchens throughout the country. It has just been announced that a collection of Jane Grigson’s books and papers will be housed at the Oxford Brookes Library.
Jill Norman, a respected food writer herself, and Jane’s paperback editor throughout her career, discusses her legacy with Martha.
