Sally Sheinman's interactive artwork
Like Cinderella, all of us have made wishes at some point in our lives. And whilst none of us expect a fairy godmother to appear, the process of wishing can have a power all of its own.
The artist Sally Sheinman has devised a way of helping us not only to wish but to share our wishes. Her interactive artwork 'The Wishing Ceremony' 'invites you to confess your deepest desires in the Wishing Booths she has made and placed in public places. They've proved very popular wherever they've been and Sally "harvests" the wishes posted on their walls.
