Now a feature of UK winters

There is nothing quite so romantic as the Rockefeller Centre in New York at this time of year when you can watch the outdoor  ice skaters strutting their stuff swathed in seasonal light. And outdoor ice skating has now become a feature of this  country’s winter too.

Ruth Hickman talked to Dennis Bird of the National Ice Skating Association and to Jane Torville, the skating instructor Rochelle Scott and to some outdoor skaters.
