When male couples have babies
Science is on the threshold of making it possible for men to have babies without a woman's egg. This, and other aspects of stem cell research and the revolution in fertility treatments will cause ethical, legal and emotional problems on a scale that the government has simply failed to grasp.
This is the thesis of Anna Smajdor, speaking at the Progress Education Trust in London. Anna, an ethicist at Imperial College, joins Jenni to discuss the implications of the new technology.
