On her childhood memoirs, Too Many Mothers
Last time Roberta Taylor was on Woman's Hour she talked about her illicit affair with a twenty-two year old - in her role as Irene Raymond in EastEnders. Since then she's left Albert Square and is now known to viewers of The Bill as Inspector Gina Gold. She's also starring as Mrs Pardiggle in the BBC's current adaptation of Bleak House.
Roberta has somehow found time to write a memoir of her childhood days in the real East End. She joins Martha to tell her about growing up with Too Many Mothers.
