  Tall women 24 Oct 2005
Are they really more ambitious and less broody?

Recent research carried out at the University of St Andrews and the University of Stirling has found that tall women may be more ambitious in their careers and less inclined to start a family than their shorter counterparts.

Martha (5ft5) speaks to co-author of the study, Dennis Deady (5ft11), and asks how it was carried out and why taller women might have more masculine traits. She also speaks to comedian Ava Vidal (5ft11), and Gill Hebb (6ft1) from the Tall Person’s Club of Great Britain and Ireland about their experiences of life as a tall woman.
