Three Sisters Make One Baby
Fom conception to birth

Three sisters, Helen, Alex and Charlotte pooled their resources to have a baby when Alex became infertile following treatment for cervical cancer. One sister provided the eggs, one carried the baby, and one became the legal mother when the baby was born. It's the first surrogacy arrangement of its kind in this country, but drawing up the legal agreement was the easy part.

Helen, Alex and Charlotte tell Martha about their remarkable and emotional story, from conception to delivery.

Three Sisters Make One Baby, BBC One, Monday 31 October at 9pm
