How will new research affect women's lives?
This morning the news has reported a huge breakthrough in preventing cervical cancer through a new vaccine. The disease kills 1300 women a year in this country, three hundred thousand throughout the world .
The drug has been 100% successful in protection against viruses which cause cervical cancer.
Martha discusses the new cervical vaccine with Christina Odone columnist from the Observer and Professor Margaret Stanley, a specialist in cervical cancer at the University of Cambridge.
