Last week Woman's Hour met Alice Kinglsey and her mother Jo. At the age of 14, Alice developed anorexia. She's come to terms with the illness, and now she's preparing to leave home and start university.

We discussed whether anorexia is something that can be cured, or if once an anorexic, always an anorexic. Many of you responded to the item. Jenni reads a selection of your views.

The Eating Disorder Research Unit of Kings College London is part of an international study which aims to identify some of the risk factors (and also protective factors) that lead to an eating disorder.
