Are they failing both men and women?

Women with severe psychiatric disorders, many of whom have been sexually abused are still being treated on mixed sex wards, alongside men with a history of sexual violence. 

The government has issued guidelines to ensure women are kept safe and have access to women-only wards if they want them. A leading forensic psychologist is concerned that mixed wards are bad for women ..... and for men.
