  Countess Mountbatten 10 August 2005
She talks about the work of The Child Bereavement Trust and her grief for her son

Countess Mountbatten of Burma 's 14-year-old son Nicky died on 27 th August 1979 when the IRA blew up the family's fishing boat. Her father Earl Mountbatten was also killed and she herself was seriously injured.

Countess Mountbatten discusses how she came to terms with her grief for her son and how the Child Bereavement Trust is helping families who have suffered the death of a child.

Recently the trust published an anthology of poetry and prose which it is hoped will provide comfort for grieving parents and others.
