How can parents and carers communicate more effectively with their child?

Pushchairs that face the wrong way, TV dinners and dummies are all enemies of early language development.

Talking to your child may seem like a no-brainer but 1 in 10 children have speech difficulties because they haven't been spoken to. 

Martha  talks to Liz Attenborough , Manager of the National Literacy Trust's Talk to Your Baby campaign, about ways in which parents and carers can communicate more effectively with their child.
