  Muslim communities 21 July 2005
What contribution can Muslim women make to the political agenda

In all the debates about the impact and meaning of the atrocities in London two week ago, the voices of Muslim women have been largely absent.

In Leeds and Dewsbury we talk to women of all ages from the Muslim communities there about the contribution they feel they can make.

Sayeeda Warsi, Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party, in Leeds NCA and Dr Scilla Elworthy at Demos HQ, one of the writers of today's new report; Hearts and Minds about women's involvement in conflict resolution join Jenni to discuss what the best way is for women to get their opinions heard.
