A break from the old routine

Many of us will now be looking forward to getting the family together for the traditional two week holiday this summer. However a small but increasing number of us are instead opting for the altogether more ambitious option of taking a Family Gap Year. 

Jenni is joined by Mary Ann Sieghart, Assistant Editor of The Times, who is taking her daughters out of class to travel around Central America and Douglas Robertson whose father took the family on a sailing trip around the world that culminated in a shipwreck.
