Honouring the women who served
Baroness Boothroyd of Sandwell, who is Patron of The Women of World War II Trust, joins Woman's Hour ahead of the unveiling of a memorial to the women who served in World War II.
The monument in London's Whitehall depicts the uniforms and working clothes worn by women during the war. Part of the cost of the memorial had been raised by Baroness Boothroyd's appearance on ITV's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" quiz show in 2002.
