  Baby screenings 06 June 2005
The new trend in family cinema-going?

Imagine taking your baby to the cinema without the worry of parking a pushchair, changing a nappy or disturbing others? Well, now you can, because watching-with-baby screenings are coming to a cinema near you.

They are designed for parents who have babies under the age of one and who want to watch grown-up films. Every Friday morning the Ritzy Cinema in South London is packed with babies and wet wipes for its very own Big Scream Club.

But is it just a baby box-office wonder, or the shape of cinema to come? Anna Bailey goes along to a screening to find out.
