 Born in Leeds and had a typical adolescence with parties, pop music and wearing fashionable clothes
She studied at London University and was planning to become a successful career woman.
Then when she was 21 she decided to convert to Islam and she now chooses to cover herself from head to foot in full Islamic dress.
Martha talks to Na'ima about her faith, her Islamic lifestyle and her new book in which she gives an insight into the experiences of Muslim women.
