 Is the lure of the ice less strong for women?
The British Antarctic Survey is trying to recruit more women to work in Antarctica, to redress the gender imbalance amongst its staff.
But with temperatures of -40 ºC, long dark winters and the sense of being, literally, at the end of the Earth, what would attract women to work there?
