 Why Protestants are once again taking her their bosom
According to the Christian calendar, Good Friday is the day when Jesus died on the cross. This year it’s also the day of the Annunciation, when Mary was told by the angel Gabriel that she would give birth to the Messiah.
Roman Catholics will celebrate the Annunciation this year on 4 April. However some Protestant pastors in the States are including Mary in their sermons as more and more Protestants are reclaiming her as an important figure.
