Scotland has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in Europe and has also experienced a large increase in sexually transmitted infections in recent years.
In January, the Scottish Executive published its long-awaited sexual health strategy, Respect and Responsibility, amid widespread concerns that Scotland lags behind England in tackling the issue. Why are Scotland's teenage pregnancy and STI rates so high? And what can be done to reduce the figures?
Jenni talks to Tim Street, director of the Family Planning Association in Scotland, and Shona Robison MSP, whose Dundee constituency has one of the highest levels of teenage mothers in Scotland.
