In today's phone-in we discuss loneliness - and we'd like to hear from you.
Are we lonelier than we used to be? With the changing face of the family, notions of community, the role of the church and the state of marriage, our social networks are not what they were, say, 50 years ago.
As a recent report reveals more Britons live alone than ever before, are we turning into a nation of individuals? How well are we adapting to our new social networks - with a family of friends replacing a family of relatives?
Perhaps you've put your career on hold to look after your new baby at home; or the kids have left home and you're recently divorced? Maybe your partner has died and left a hole in your life? Perhaps you've overcome loneliness and can offer your own advice?
Jenni is joined by psychologist and agony aunt Susan Quilliam to take your calls, so do let us know what you think.
You can call us on 08700 100 444 (lines open 8am)
or
email your thoughts and experiences.
Don't forget to leave your contact details so that we can get back to you.
