Last month a report released by the Ministry of Defence on harassment and bullying in the RAF showed that almost half the 6,300 women currently serving in the RAF are estimated to have been sexually harassed at some point in their career.
More than 40% of victims of bullying did not protest, and more than 50% of those who did lodge a complaint were not satisfied with the response.
Jenni speaks to Catherine Brumfitt, now an ex-RAF policewoman, Wing Commander Sheila Haughton and Paul Keetch, the Liberal Democrat defence spokesman, about what needs to be done to address the problems this research has exposed.
