On view at the Oscars ceremony this weekend will be plenty of glamorous women in dazzling designer frocks. However, one small but powerful group of women will not be getting dolled up simply because no award category exists for them.
The casting director profession is dominated by women but it remains the only craft skill to still go officially unacknowledged.
Jenni asks theatre producer, Thelma Holt and casting director Anji Carroll to assess the importance of the casting director's role.
