  Phone-in: Ageism 12 January 2005
Image: ageism
Jenni takes your calls today

Today's phone in looks at ageism and we'd like to hear from you.

Have you ever experienced prejudice against age? Do you think it affects women more or less than men?

How can we change people's perceptions about growing old? Is the government's idea of a mandatory retirement age a good one?

Is there in fact truth in the notion that older people are resistant to change, risk averse and therefore hold companies back? Do pensioners really have power when they are no longer out earning?

We'd like to hear your views and experiences.
