Postnatal Depression in Fathers Tuesday 2 September 2003
New Baby
After the birth of a new baby you may be left feeling a bit low, weepy or even panic-stricken. All quite normal symptoms after such a life-changing event ? but sometimes when these feelings persist you may find yourself suffering from postnatal depression.

But what if your partner is the one who is irritable, despairing and unable to cope?
Jenni discusses male postnatal depression with Mary Alabaster from South Essex partnership NHS trust, who is setting up a new helpline and counselling service and Dr Kathryn Abel.
