 Heather Small , British singer-songwriter collaborated with the Manchester based band M People throughout the 1990s. They sold 10 million records worldwide.
Now, having taken some time off to care for her son, she's working on a new album. In June she begins a UK tour to debut some of her material.
She joins Razia Iqbal to talk about what it's like going solo and life as a single mum.
