 The conviction rate for rape currently stands at just 7%. The government is trying to change that by tightening the laws on consent in a bill going through parliament at the moment.
But as the bill reaches the committee stage of the House of Lords, certain clauses are under threat from peers who argue they'll confuse juries and lead to miscarriages of justice.
