Getting fussy eaters to try new foods is almost always a struggle and it's nice to know that even the children of one of Britain's top chefs don't always like everything they're given.
Heston Blumenthal is the proprietor of the Fat Duck in Berkshire - he's got two Michelin stars and is known for his scientific approach to cooking. Even his mashed potato relies on the theory of molecular gastronomy.
All very complicated, particularly for Jack, Jessie and Joy, his three young children. Jennifer Chevalier joined the Blumenthals in the kitchen for a taste of perfect pommes puree. Heston Blumenthal, author of Family Food, Published by Michael Joseph Nov 2002, ISBN: 0718144368
