Bergenias |

 This fine spell of spring weather is bringing the blooms out in the garden and if you're a clever gardener (in other words there's something other than daffodils in your neck of the woods) you may have some Bergenia.
It has clumps of bell like flowers in pink or white which start to blossom at this time of year.
Maggie Campbell Culver, the author of The Origin of Plants has been extolling the virtues of Bergenias to Corinne Julius - they're good all rounders with colour now and attractive foliage in the winter.
